POSITION TITLE: Director of Marketing (Automotive Aftermarket - Hard Parts)

REPORTS TO: VP of Marketing

 

Position Summary:

The Director of Marketing is responsible for leading the company's marketing efforts, developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies, and driving growth through innovative and effective campaigns.

 

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Oversee creating and designing catalogs, promotional materials, newsletters, flyers, website graphics, email layouts, social media graphics, and other publication materials. 

  • Conducting market research and analysis to understand market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.

  • Overseeing the planning, development, and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across various channels (digital, print, social media, etc.).

  • Monitoring campaign performance and optimizing strategies based on analytics and feedback.

  • Help manage the marketing budget, allocating resources effectively to maximize ROI.

  • Tracking expenses and ensuring campaigns are cost-effective while achieving desired outcomes.

  • Overseeing digital marketing initiatives, including SEO, social media marketing, email campaigns, and website management.

  • Utilizing digital analytics tools to track performance metrics and optimize online presence.

  • Collaborating cross-functionally with sales, and other teams to align marketing strategies with overall business goals.

  • Communicating marketing plans, strategies, and results to VP of Sales 

  • Analyzing campaign performance and preparing regular reports on key metrics, ROI, and effectiveness of marketing efforts.

  • Using data-driven insights to make informed decisions and adjustments to future marketing strategies.

  • Be an “Outside the Box” thinker

  • Attend events as needed

Education/Experience/Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of automotive parts and market strategies.

  • Onsite employment preferred.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in strategic problem solving with strong understanding of B2B marketing dynamics, excellent leadership, and consistent record of success in driving measurable results.

  • Bachelor-level degree preferably in Marketing 

  • Solid understanding of multichannel marketing.

  • Experience in strategic marketing planning, budgeting, and execution.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across departments and with senior management.

  • Proficiency in analyzing marketing data (e.g., ROI analysis, market trends, customer insights) to inform strategic decisions and optimize marketing campaigns.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

  • Experience using data and analytics to make informed decisions and optimize campaign performance.

  • Experience with Adobe Cloud is preferred but not required.

  • Must be organized and structured

  • Must be a self-starter with problem solving skills

  • Must have an exceptional ability to attend to details

  • Must be able to plan, prioritize, and multitask

  • Must have experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
