Medical Office Administrator/Case Manager

As an Office Administrator and Case Manager, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks such as; providing support to our team, and maintaining a productive work environment, as well as coordinating care for clients, their providers, and managing their equipment needs.
Key Responsibilities:
**Office Management and Administrative Support:**
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including mail, emails, and phone calls.
- Maintain accurate and organized records, files, and databases.
- Assist with invoicing, billing, and processing payments.
**Case Management:**
- Understand and comply with all governmental, regulatory and company billing and compliance
regulations/policies including but not limited to Medicare and Medicaid programs.
- Establish patient records and record appropriate patient and equipment rental information in each patient's record.
- Coordinate all patient information and process paperwork including preparation of file for billing.
- Follow-up with payers, patients and other appropriate parties to collect open billings in a timely manner and to ensure compliance with billing regulations.
- Develop and maintain working knowledge of current HME products and services offered by our company and all applicable insurance guidelines respecting eligibility for coverage and reimbursement.
- Obtaining coverage, benefit information and prior authorizations for managed care patients.
**Qualifications:**
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
