Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team in New Castle, Delaware. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of operating sit-down forklifts, unloading trailers, and performing various warehouse duties as needed. This is a full time opportunity and we’re looking for dependable workers only.
Shift:
- 1st Shift – 7am to 3:30pm Monday through Friday (overtime available)
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate sit-down forklifts to load and unload trailers.
- Transport materials throughout the warehouse to designated locations.
- Perform routine equipment inspections on forklifts (visual checks)
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
- Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and procedures.
- Collaborate with warehouse team members to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Complete required paperwork and documentation accurately.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of recent experience operating sit-down forklifts.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
