Job Summary:
The Production Manager is ultimately accountable for driving safety protocols, development of teams, execution and improvement of our production systems, accomplish company goals with safety first and build quality in while having direct impact on cost and profitability of the site. A strong candidate will work with a high degree of integrity in a fast-paced environment, leading production teams, and loves to solve problems from repeating.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist safety training and the proper use of protective equipment, by ensuring all employees are following safety rules and company code of conduct.
- Responsible for resource planning, development and execution of production schedules, labor allocation, facility, and equipment improvements.
- Set or adjust production plan priorities per capacity and available resources, controls labor cost and addresses labor constraints through innovative ways.
- Maintains safe and organized production floor meeting 6S & Cu Segregation requirements.
- Owns & status safety metrics, production metrics, and site projects.
- Manages direct and indirect staff supporting production processes, including hiring, evaluation, training, and development of employees.
- Interfaces with external Customers as well as internal stakeholders routinely to maintain high level of communications on production projects, schedules & escalations.
- Monitor and trend non-conformances for rework and damages and work with engineering to reduce / eliminate occurrence.
- Manages Statistical Process Control throughout production processes with full compliance and response plan with minimal delay.
- Performs product and process risk assessment activities using Failure Modes & Effects Analysis methodology (PFMEA).
- Participates in Document Control and Change Management system to systematize improvements and bring new processes into production.
- Travel to other locations, vendor, and customer facilities within the continental US may be needed occasionally.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of degree with min of 5 years exp or high school with min of 15 years relevant experience in managing manufacturing of products, production processes in highly controlled copy exact environments
- Experience in Semiconductor Industry highly preferred but not required.
- Hands on experience in Lean Manufacturing a plus.
- Quality tools training - ISO9001, 8D/RCCA Methodology etc. desirable
- Proficient in MS Office suite.
Work Environment:

Physical Demands:
- Must pass company required physical/screening tests. The employee is regularly required to sit and stand, reach with hands and arms and perform light routine office work, which includes computer workstation usage.
