Job Title: Production Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Manager to join our team at FUJIFILM North America Corporation. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the production operations team, driving efficiency, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive initiatives to meet daily production needs and ensure timely completion of projects
  • Evaluate customer forecasts and schedule production to maximize throughput and minimize overtime
  • Apply Lean principles to improve employee efficiency and standardize procedures
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external customers, including responding to inquiries and resolving issues
  • Work closely with the Operations Manager to oversee project completion and ensure budget and timeline adherence
  • Direct, supervise, and coach staff to ensure a safe and productive manufacturing environment
  • Encourage a culture of continuous improvement and foster collaboration among team members
  • Participate in management review meetings and make presentations on issues, concerns, and successes
  • Ensure compliance with Environmental Health and Safety standards, including required training and personal protective equipment use

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent with some college and 5-7 years' experience in production and at least 3 years in a supervisory role
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Principles, including 5S, root cause, waste, and Gemba
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to travel to other corporate sites and industry-related training/events
  • Flexibility in scheduling

Desired Skills:

  • College degree in an associated field
  • 5+ years of increasing responsibilities in leadership in a manufacturing setting
  • Demonstrated project planning and project management skills
  • Green Belt in Lean Manufacturing Principles
