Well-established and continually growing residential property management company is seeking an experienced employee to assist with repair and maintenance coordination in Las Vegas, Nevada.  We are looking for a committed professional with a minimum 2+ years' experience in this position (preferably in property management) or in a related field.  Employee will be responsible for coordinating repairs and maintenance for the rental homes we manage and homes we sell.  Applicants must have a good working knowledge of home systems functionality in order to be able to troubleshoot with residents.  (The basics of how things work in a home, like plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc.)  Position will require time in-office (Sahara & Buffalo area), as well as time at our properties throughout Las Vegas, North Las Vegas and Henderson. 

Compensation package is based on experience.  

Duties (may include, but are not limited to):

  • Assist in repair work order processing, troubleshooting, dispatching and obtaining estimates from established vendors.
  • Work with multiple home warranty companies to facilitate repairs on homes with a policy in place.
  • Assign/schedule technicians and vendors to complete repairs in the homes we manage, with landlords and tenants.
  • Provide supervision over work orders, and verify completion, according to company standards.
  • Assist in inspection of properties during move-outs and for periodic inspections.
  • Create punchlists of repair work and cleaning to be completed between tenants, according to company standards.
  • Use provided property management software to track, dispatch and enter data into the system for archival purposes.  

Applicants must:

  • Pass a background check. 
  • Have a valid drivers license and a dependable vehicle, with in-force vehicle insurance.  Mileage reimbursement will be provided. 
  • Carry a company phone to handle vendor communications and after-hours' emergency calls and must respond in a timely manner.
  • Have strong customer service and communication skills and a willingness to learn.  
  • Have the ability to prioritize and delegate workload.
  • Demonstrate leadership and organizational skills, while being able to work well with fellow employees, company owners, vendors and tenants.
  • Demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Have good reading, writing, spelling and grammatical skills.  
  • Have general email and Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
  • Have confidence in enforcing company policies with vendors and tenants.
