Pay: $16 - $20 per hour (depending on experience)

Job Summary:

HireQuest Direct, a leading staffing company, is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Full-Time Administrative Assistant to join our team in Asheville, NC. This position is essential to ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our branch. If you have strong organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and a proactive attitude, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Employee Verification:

    • Accurately check and process I-9 forms to ensure compliance with federal regulations.
    • Maintain up-to-date records of employee verification documents.
  • Payroll Management:

    • Assist with payroll processing tasks, including data entry and verification.
    • Address payroll-related inquiries from employees and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Branch Maintenance:

    • Ensure the branch is clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
    • Perform routine cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal.
  • Administrative Support:

    • Provide general administrative support to the branch manager and staff.
    • Handle phone calls, emails, and other correspondence in a professional manner.
    • Assist with scheduling and coordinating meetings or appointments.
  • Customer Service:

    • Greet and assist visitors and clients with a friendly and professional demeanor.
    • Address customer inquiries and provide accurate information about our services.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in office administration is a plus.
  • Proven experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with office equipment.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Benefits:
