Company Overview
SERVPRO of Corpus Christi East is a reputable company offering commercial and residential reconstruction services. Our expertise covers various projects, and we are dedicated to providing top-quality service and skilled workmanship to meet the needs of our clients.

Position Description
The Director of Reconstruction is a departmental leadership position responsible for developing and managing the Construction Project Managers while also building out our commercial reconstruction efforts. The Director of Reconstruction ensures our projects are brought to completion on time oversees build quality, safety, and construction best practices.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Plan, direct, and coordinate construction operations, purchases, financial reporting, and project controls activities for all projects.
  • Develop and implement strategies for business growth, with a particular emphasis on commercial reconstruction services.
  • Significantly involved in all aspects of project execution from participation in proposals and procurement, contract negotiations, and managing all aspects of project operations and financial performance
  • Ensures work is performed within a pre-scheduled budget and manages project performance to meet or exceed desired goals
  • Provides direction on individual staff development
  • Collaborates with Project Managers and Supervisory staff to allocate staff and resources to meet objectives and implement ways to improve the efficiency and profitability of all projects
What You Need for this Position
  • 7+ years of experience in the construction industry, with a significant portion of this time spent in commercial projects
  • 5+ years of proven management experience in a leadership role within the construction sector
  • Current General Contractor's License is a plus
  • Strong project management skills, with a track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience within the mitigation and restoration industry is a plus
  • Proven experience working with a variety of subcontractors
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of leading a team and interfacing effectively with clients and stakeholders.
  • Experience with Xactimate software and working with insurance companies is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically, with a keen eye for identifying business growth opportunities
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing environments and challenges
