Role Overview:

Our client is seeking a VP/SVP of Marketing with extensive experience in building IP brands, particularly in the toy industry. The ideal candidate will have a background with leading brands like Mattel, Warner Bros, and Disney.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies aligned with company goals
  • Drive digital and social media marketing campaigns, launches, and partnerships
  • Experience in community management, engagement, and growth is important
  • Identify and capitalize on new channel opportunities
  • Working with the Head of Growth, Community Manager, and co-founders
  • Manage a significant marketing budget

Qualifications:

  • 8-10+ years in brand marketing
  • Proven track record in building successful IP brands
  • Knowledge of conventional brand strategies and conventions/trade shows
  • Startup mindset
  • Experience building traditional toy brands and conventional brands
  • A basic understanding of NFTs, blockchain technology, and the cryptocurrency space 
  • Understanding trends, pop culture, and what resonates with the broader consumer base, especially in toys and entertainment
  • Understanding of business operations, strategic planning, and financial acumen 
  • Living, willing to travel or relocate near Miami

Compensation:

  • $200,000+ salary, bonuses, and benefits.
