Job DescriptionJob Description

We are seeking a Prevention of Sexual Abuse Compliance Manager to become a part of the team

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with law enforcement agencies when a victim of sexual abuse has been identified
  • Supervise other certified sexual abuse counselors or assistant managers
  • Conduct training on sexual assault screening/recognition with agency staff and foster parents
  • Ensure the agency is in compliance with the Office of Refugee Resettlement as regards with compliance with preventing, detecting, and responding to sexual abuse and sexual harassment
  • Screen all Special Incidents and police reports related to sexual abuse or sexual harassment
  • Ensure confidentiality of all complaint investigations and incidents
  • Conduct Crisis Interventions with staff and service recipients
  • Maintain Professionalism with employees, recipients, community contacts, and regulatory personnel

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree with major in social work or social welfare, marriage, family, and child counseling, counseling psychology, or equivalent
  • Previous experience in social work, sexual abuse prevention, counseling, and abuse prevention a plus
  • Experience in conflict resolution
  • Fundamental knowledge of abuse laws and protocol
  • Ability to build rapport with victims
  • Strong leadership qualities
  • Experience coordinating and reporting with law enforcement agencies
  • Excellent Written & Oral Communication Skills
  • Previous counseling experience
  • Experience with Conflict Resolution
  • Telephone Etiquette
  • Proofreading Skills
  • Bilingual - Spanish/English
