We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Accounts Receivable/Payroll Specialist. As an Accounts Receivable/Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices, ensuring timely collection of payments and assist with payroll preparation for processing. This is a vital role within our organization, as you will play a key part in maintaining positive relationships with our customers, including employees and ensuring the financial stability of our company.

Accounting Duties:
- Analyze customer accounts and perform necessary actions to resolve outstanding balances
- Process and post invoices accurately and in a timely manner
- Prepare and send out monthly statements to customers
- Monitor accounts receivable aging report and follow up on overdue payments
- Communicate with customers regarding payment discrepancies or issues
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and interactions with customers
- Assist with month-end closing activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve any billing or payment-related inquiries
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks Online cloud-base) to input and retrieve financial data

Payroll Duties:
- Manage employee data for payroll processing
- Monitor time tracking for all hourly employees
- Communicate closely with employees and Logistics dept to accurately record time off requests

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in accounting or related field preferred
- Proven experience as an accounts receivable clerk or similar role
- QuickBooks Online cloud-based accounting software experience
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word) or related software
- Knowledge of accounting principles
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with professional phone etiquette
- Familiarity with ADP Run payroll a plus
