What are the responsibilities and duties of an Immigration Paralegal?
· Communicating with clients, performing intakes and completing USCIS applications such as but not limited to Adjustment of Status, Cancellation of Removal, Asylum, and Work Authorization applications.
· Providing clients with case status updates whether on the phone or in-person.
· Scheduling new prospective clients and following up
· Assisting our attorneys with file organization, case preparation including but not limited to submissions to USCIS and Immigration Court.
Your qualifications and skill set for Immigration Paralegal:
· 2 years of previous immigration experience required
- Fluency in Spanish or another language including willingness and ability to interpret and translate when needed.
· Excellent written and oral communication skills
· Must be highly organized, detail oriented, and possess strong time-management skills.
· Ability to work both independently and as part of a team when required
