Sales Development Representative

Job Summary
The Sales Development Rep (SDR) is responsible for supporting the sales team through qualifying leads and managing activities to serve our customers and make our sales team better. This position requires someone who is comfortable and confident communicating to business leaders on the phone and through email. The ideal candidate is driven by a “never enough” mentality and is comfortable handling a high amount of sales activities per day. Our SDR is the engine for the sales team, responsible for scheduling qualified meetings for our sales reps. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Respond, engage and qualify inbound leads and inquiries (phone, email, chat, webinar, etc.)
- Responsible for developing prospects leading to qualified appointments for Sales Executives
- Nurture new marketing leads by educating and developing prospects until they are ready to speak with a Sales Executive
- Drive attendance for webinars and Live Q&As
- Identify prospects using targeted lists within our CRMs (Hubspot)
- Ensure successful follow through of the sales cycle by maintaining accurate activity and lead qualification information in our CRM
- Clearly communicate the benefits of different StoryBrand and Business Made Simple products
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Proven business development success through effective use of core sales tools: Hubspot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, etc.
- Experience that proves you are a resourceful self-starter that is eager to talk to as many people as possible to see where customer needs can be met and deals can be uncovered
- Proven track record of owning your goals and consistently surpassing them
- Proficient communication skills
- Can manage multiple tasks at once with ease
- Ability to use technology and automation to sell efficiently
- Builds rapport with staff, contractors, and customers
- The ability to work well independently while collaborating with other teams and leaders
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, growth stage environment
