Customer Service Specialist

Up to $24.00 per hour to start plus full company-sponsored benefits

As a Customer Service Specialist, you will

  • Join the Customer Service Department
  • Receive complete training
  • Learn about the company's innovative medical devices and technologies
  • Respond to customer requests by phone and email
  • Answer questions and address inquiries
  • Provide information on product details, pricing and availability
  • Assist customers with identifying the correct replacement parts
  • Generate sales quotes
  • Take, enter and process orders
  • Administer changes and updates to open customer orders upon request
  • Make updates to customer account information in the database
  • Track shipments, expediting 'rush' orders as necessary
  • Provide customers with periodic order status updates as appropriate
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise
  • Coordinate with the Accounting Department regarding customer lines of credit
  • Troubleshoot issues and complaints as they arise
  • Administer returned goods and issuing customer credits
  • Perform other duties as assigned

An ideal candidate profile will include:

  • At least 1 year of Customer Service, Inside Sales and/or Sales Support experience
  • Related experience from a manufacturer or distributor of products

And:

  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Fast and accurate data entry skills
  • Basic math skills
  • A High School Diploma or Equivalent

Pluses:

  • +++ Prior experience from the Medical Product, Medical Device or Medical Equipment industries
  • +++ An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree
