About the Role:

· We are looking for an energized and driven Architect/Project Manager with 5+ years of experience to join our team As an Architect/Project Manager, you will apply your knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, strategic thinking, and collaborative skills to manage projects from inception through the final stages of construction. This includes managing client relationships, developing and presenting design proposals, preparing drawings, specifications, construction documents, and managing project teams. You should be able to take ownership of your projects, be in the design and construction of a new building, an extension, or alterations project, and deliver on the client’s requirements.

Responsibilities:

· Working closely with clients to create plans that meet specified requirements.

· Producing detailed technical drawings and specifications using CAD software (AutoCAD and/or Revit)

· Preparing relevant paperwork including meeting minutes, applications for permitting and construction contracts

· Liaising with internal and external professionals including team members, consultants, and contractors to ensure project runs smoothly.

· Regularly visiting site to monitor project progression and resolve risks and issues.

· Keeping the Principal/Owner up to date with Project progress

Location & Commitments:

· In-Office in Portland, Oregon

· Work hours Monday-Thursday 7:30am to 5:30pm, Friday 7:30am to 11:30am

· Regular site visits required.

Preferred Qualifications:

· A professional degree, such as a Master of Architecture or Bachelor of Architecture

· Experience working with AutoCAD and Revit

· 5+ years of practical experience

· Understanding of local code requirements and hospital standards

· Strong verbal and written communication skills

· Highly organized with the ability to balance multiple projects at once.
