  • Calculating bills: Gather information like order amounts and discount rates to calculate bills
  • Preparing invoices: Create invoices and credit memos, and send them to customers by mail or email
  • Updating records: Keep customer files up to date
  • Following up with customers: Send payment reminders and help customers with invoice issues by phone or email
  • Researching payments: Proactively look into payment details and reach out to clients as needed
  • Analyzing trends: Track aging patterns to predict and prevent late invoices
  • Resolving disputes: Work to resolve payment disputes, and may involve management when necessary
  • Performing administrative tasks: Upload and retrieve documents, and perform other tasks as assigned by their supervisor 

Skills Needed:

Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, Outlook, Word is required. 

Good communication skills, billing/invoicing/A/P, detail oriented, preferably with experience in the transportation industry would be a plus.
