Triumph Construction is a premier construction company located in Bronx, New York. We work for a wide variety of companies including New York City Design and Construction, Economic Development Corporation and Con Edison as well as other public and private entities. The job sites are in the five Boroughs of NYC.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) or similar military/government entities. This role is crucial for managing and overseeing all project-related to ensure accuracy and compliance. You will serves as the Government's sole point of contact in all matters relating to work including, but not limited to, contract compliance, progress of work, overall project scheduling, financial matters, and change orders.

Requirements

  • Project Management: Manage the entire project-specific construction process from permits to punch list. Ensure smooth execution of projects, delivering exceptional results while maintaining quality and safety standards.
  • Contract Oversight: Oversee and coordinate all aspects of heavy civil construction contracts from initiation to completion, including revenue, safety, risk, schedule, and compliance with contract drawings and specifications.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders, to ensure project milestones are achieved on time and within budget.
  • Communication: Conduct project meetings, facilitate effective communication, and resolve issues among team members.
  • Planning and Review: Prepare and review project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations, identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Procurement: Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to procure materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project specifications.
  • Progress Monitoring: Monitor construction progress, conduct regular site visits, and provide accurate reports regarding project status, issues, and recommended actions.
  • Documentation: Maintain project files, logs (payment, permits, RFIs, change order submittal, PO, etc.), and drawings. Prepare cost to complete reports, labor reports, cost analysis, and budgets.
  • Field Activities: Monitor the progress of field construction activities to assure compliance with project plans and specifications. Keep an accurate account of work quantities performed by subcontractors and reconcile such quantities with subcontractors and the Owner’s representative.
  • Industry Updates: Stay updated with industry trends, construction methodologies, and to contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes.
  • Flexibility: Adapt to evolving job responsibilities to align with the needs of the projects and the organization.

Required Qualifications:

  • Software Proficiency: Experience with HCSS, Excel, P6, or Microsoft Project.
  • Pre-Construction Expertise: Proven experience in pre-construction planning and execution.
  • Certifications and Licenses: Must have one of the following: Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.), Project Management Professional (PMP), or Certified Construction Manager (CCM).
  • Experience: Must have prior work experience with the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) or a military/government entity in a related field.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent presentation abilities.
  • Experience: Minimum of 15 years of project management experience.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
