We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our success and assist in leading our warehouse team and efforts. The Warehouse Supervisor must be organized and meticulous. Must manage efficiently, safely, and effectively the receipt, storage, inventory, pulling, and shipping of our warehoused goods. In addition to supervising the operations of the warehouse, you will also be responsible for supervising the warehouse staff. Motivating, encouraging, and engaging them throughout the day. You should be able to ensure productivity targets are achieved and that all warehouse processes are running smoothly and promptly.

Duties:

The duties of the Warehouse Supervisor are divided into 2 segments. The 2 segments are Inbound and Outbound.

Inbound: Receiving, Stock keeping, Returns (RMA), Inventory Control, Location Integrity, Damages, Cycle Counting, and Other duties as assigned

Outbound: Order Pulling, Shipping, Holding Rack, Cannot find items, Missing pick list, Ensuring all orders ship out

 

Warehouse Supervisor Responsibilities:

· Stay updated and informed of the requirements for warehousing, shipping, and material handling, and ensure that our warehouse complies

· Create and manage receiving, warehousing, and distribution processes and procedures, and confirm staff compliance

· Conduct physical counts of products and reconcile with data to maintain adequate inventory levels

· Develop and monitor procedures for the safety and security of the warehouse environment and all goods

· Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.

· Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures

· Maintains warehouse staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.

· Inspect all warehouse equipment and notify the Department Manager of any needed repairs. Prepare weekly and monthly reports, plan out expenses, analyze any variances, and make necessary corrections to help the company achieve financial objectives

· Train and supervise a warehouse team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals

· Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and other technology tools to track inventory and manage workflow

· Plan work schedules, assign tasks appropriately, and appraise results

· Meet regularly with warehouse leads to review, analyze, and develop actionable plans for productivity and loss prevention

· Lead, train, and motivate warehouse staff to achieve high levels of productivity and accuracy

· Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and employee engagement

· Oversee all warehouse employees, including creating schedules, providing coaching, and mentoring, and issuing corrective action when required

· Supervise daily activities of the warehouse, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, planning, floor productivity, shipping, and customer service

· Ensure there are no concerns with all departments

· Perform other duties as assigned by management

 

Warehouse Supervisor Requirements, Skills, and Qualifications:

· Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role

· Must be reliable and punctual

· Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

· Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed

· Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives

· Strong leadership and team management skills

· Strong decision-making and critical-thinking skills

· Knowledge of proper safety procedures, equipment maintenance, and warehouse best practices

· Ability to create and manage warehouse processes

· Financial and analytical capabilities to plan budgets, monitor inventory, assess data, and create reports

· Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to supervise, manage, and develop a team

· Skills in inventory control and management

· Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds

· Monitor the warehouse floor throughout the day

· Able to work with all levels of staff

· Must be certified and able to operate material-handling equipment

· Must be comfortable viewing adult imagery and videos, with the ability to hold, describe, and professionally discuss adult and sexual wellness products.
