Job Overview

Position Summary:

The Logistics Warehouse Operator is responsible for executing a variety of functions including order selection, packaging, and receiving goods. This role entails maintaining a tidy and systematic workspace. Additional routine cleaning and upkeep tasks may be assigned based on daily operational requirements by your supervisor or team leader.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately processing, packaging, and dispatching orders.
  • Examining products for any defects and reporting issues as necessary.
  • Restocking and managing inventory levels as required.
  • Preparing goods for shipment.
  • Adhering to all warehouse protocols and safety regulations.
  • Maintaining a safe and organized work environment by keeping shelves, packing areas, and workstations orderly; ensuring the shipping supply area is clean; and complying with established procedures and regulations.
  • Utilizing barcode scanners, computers, and data entry systems to generate labels.
  • Employing RF scanners to retrieve orders.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems.
  • Forklift operation experience is advantageous.
  • Proficient in computer applications for data entry.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety standards.
  • Basic mathematical skills and record-keeping abilities.
  • Exceptional organizational capabilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail is crucial.
  • Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is required.

Work Schedule: 4/10 format, from 7 AM to 5:45 PM.
