Full Job Description

As a estimator you will be responsible for all day to day operations. Qualifications and tasks include but not limited to:

  • Journeyman plumbing and gas fitter license required
  • Must have extensive proven knowledge in plumbing code
  • Assist in developing proposals to support job requirements and organizational goals
  • Do all material and labor take offs
  • Must maintain job estimates in accordance with established policy and procedure
  • Must have onsite plumbing installation skills
  • Job may entail visits to jobsites
  • Design plumbing lay outs in accordance with local plumbing codes
  • Ensure that all documents are accurate and up to date
  • Submit RFI's and other communications with general contractors
  • Professional interactions and clear communication with General Contractors, office personal and inspectors
  • Experience in construction management is an asset
  • Ability to develop critical path and estimating schedule
  • Must be able to work independently as well as with others as a team
  • Should exhibit strong organizational and time management skills
  • Experience with adobe and Microsoft office, specifically word and excel a must
