Job DescriptionJob Description

CSP's Accounting & Finance practice has partnered with our client in search of an AP & Payroll Specialist to join their team. Our client is a well-known leader in the manufacturing and consumer goods industry. The AP & Payroll Specialist will assist the rest of the accounting team in processing account payable invoices and process weekly payroll the company. This position requires experience in Accounts Payable and Payroll processing and a general understanding of general ledger accounting.

 

Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable

  • Process A/P invoices
  • Process invoices against Purchase Orders
  • Process invoices paid by Credit Cards
  • Assemble, review and verify invoices for payment
  • Perform Check/ACH runs

Payroll

  • Process weekly payroll
  • Monitor benefit signup as employees become eligible
  • Maintain employee files
  • ADP experience preferred

 

Qualifications:

  • Experience in processing both AP and Payroll
  • ADP experience preferred
  • Sage ERP experience a plus
  • General knowledge of general ledger accounting
