Newport Exterminating is an established Pest Control Company servicing Southern California for over 50 years. We are looking for a full time phone operator / administrative assistant. We offer Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, Vision Insurance, Life Insurance, 401K, Paid Sick, Paid Holidays, and Paid Vacation.
We are currently seeking energetic candidates to serve as an operator/administrative assistant. The position is full-time, Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM. The job’s primary function is to answer phone calls from customers. The operator will also work closely with the office manager to learn multiple administrative duties for the position.
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or GED
Must have experience in customer service/high call volume
MUST be able to multi-task, have good phone etiquette, be punctual and a team player.
Have customer service skills with professional approach
Duties and Responsibilities:
Answer incoming phone calls and reroute call to appropriate person or department
Maintain good customer service in assisting callers
Responsible for forwarding emails received in the electronic general mailbox
Responsible for daily filing and maintaining files including archiving files annually
Assists the annual control policy (CP) department with their monthly procedures
Conduct inventory of office supplies and order as needed
Utilize postage machine, typewriters, PestPac program as well as other software and tools to complete tasks
Assist Managers regarding operations support
Performs data entry and general administrative support tasks with deadlines
Document preparation as needed
Complete special projects as assigned by management
Other Duties as assigned
