Job Summary:

We are seeking a full-time IT and Cybersecurity Support Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing first-class technical support to our customers and maintaining our internal systems. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in both IT and cybersecurity practices, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to computers, printers, network equipment, and various software environments including Office365 and Google Workspace. Experience with firewall installation, maintenance, and breach response is crucial. This position offers the opportunity to work with a variety of technologies, including Windows and Mac workstations, Linux and Windows servers, and NAS storage solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide timely and effective technical support to customers, addressing issues related to computers, printers, network equipment, and software applications.
  • Install, configure, and maintain firewalls and other cybersecurity measures to protect against threats and unauthorized access.
  • Monitor security systems and respond to alerts, including handling potential breaches with urgency and competence.
  • Support and manage Office365, Google Workspace, and other cloud-based services.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot Windows and Mac workstations, Linux and Windows servers, and NAS storage systems.
  • Collaborate with the team to enhance internal systems and security protocols, ensuring the highest level of protection for both our company and our clients.
  • Stay updated on the latest IT and cybersecurity trends and threats, continuously advancing your skills and knowledge.

Requirements - Must Have:

  • 1-5 years MSP experience.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts, cybersecurity practices, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Proficient in managing and supporting Windows and Mac workstations.
  • Cloud services such as Office365 and Google Workspace.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical users.

Requirements - PLUS

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Cisco, Microsoft, cybersecurity) are a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to install, configure, and maintain firewall systems and respond to security breaches.
  • Servers: Windows and Linux Install, Configure, and Maintain. 
  • Experience with NAS storage solutions
