We are seeking an experienced Insurance Account Manager / Customer Service Representative with a Florida 2-20 General Lines Insurance License to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to manage client accounts effectively. This role involves servicing and maintaining a book of business, providing support to clients, and working closely with producers to ensure client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Account Management: Manage a portfolio of commercial and personal lines accounts, ensuring all client needs are met with a high level of service.
- Customer Service: Respond promptly to client inquiries, providing accurate information on policy coverage, endorsements, and changes.
- Policy Review & Maintenance: Regularly review and update client policies, ensuring coverage aligns with their needs and complies with industry regulations.
- Claims Assistance: Assist clients with the claims process, providing guidance and liaising with carriers to resolve claims efficiently.
- New Business & Renewals: Support the renewal process by preparing quotes, negotiating with underwriters, and ensuring timely policy issuance.
- Documentation & Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including policy information, communications, and transactions, in the agency management system.
- Cross-Selling & Upselling: Identify opportunities to offer additional coverage options to clients, enhancing their overall protection.
- Compliance: Ensure all activities are conducted in compliance with state and federal insurance regulations.
Qualifications:
- License: Active Florida 2-20 General Lines Insurance License is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in an insurance account management or customer service role within Florida.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of Florida insurance regulations and market trends, particularly in commercial and personal lines.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with insurance agency management software (e.g., Ezlynx) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in policy management and client communications.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to address client concerns effectively and find solutions that meet their insurance needs.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with producers, underwriters, and other team members to achieve client satisfaction.
