GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The Hospitality Coordinator has a passion and strategy to host, connect, and support all guests moving from street to seat. They believe and thrive in creating environments where guests can belong and eventually plant roots as members.  They will work closely with ministry services to support and lead connections events and lead in increasing new volunteers. 


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Organize and prepare Guest Service volunteers to host first time guests and regular attenders from street to seat. 
  • Responsible for ordering all supplies for guest services and service-related items
  • Be present on Sundays to ensure all layers of hospitality are successful. 
  • Establish and implement quality standards for volunteers on what every attendee should experience. 
  • Recruit volunteers for all areas of hospitality including parking lot, greeters, ushers, new here/start here, and other growing areas. 
  • Schedule and develop ongoing training for volunteers. 
  • Responsible for all holiday and special event photo ops and decorations for courtyard and lobby
  • Scheduling of food trucks, coffee vendors, and special elements to enhance the Sunday guest experience when needed
  • Oversee and lead our volunteer “team up” strategy 
  • Assist with facilitating First Step, membership orientation, members nights, team rally, and other potential connections opportunities if decided upon. 
  • Possess general understanding of staff, ministries, current events and culture of MISSION


REQUIREMENTS

  • Desires to see the unchurched begin a relationship with Jesus Christ, call MISSION home, and contend for God’s church here at MISSION
  • Highly relational dynamic personality traits
  • Relates to people with maturity and grace
  • Willing to become a member of MISSION and represent all aspects of MISSION with integrity
  • Represents Christ and His church well in the community at large
  • Discerns relational dynamics and responds appropriately
  • Solution oriented with strong organizational and administrative skills
  • Demonstrates advanced skills in sales, system, and process development
  • Proficient computer skills, CRM, or similar database experience
  • Detail oriented with strong verbal and writing skills
