G2 Secure Staff is expanding and looking to add to the Wheelchair Dispatcher operations atPortland International Jetport (PWM).
Pay Rate: $16.15 per hour
Shift: Full Time
The Wheelchair Dispatcher Agent is responsible coordinating communications to the Wheelchair agent team and management as well as updates / notifications between the Client and employees. Ensures all data is recorded according to company procedures.
What does a Dispatcher do?
- Operate multiple systems, switchboards, and phones simultaneously
- Must know how to work multiple computer and phone systems
- Actively participate in the Safety Management System (SMS)
- Must be quick with disseminating information to appropriate personnel
- Perform at a high and accurate level when answering phone system and distributing information
- Continuously gather updated information to ensure proper delivery in a timely manner
What skills are required to Join the Team?
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must submit to and pass a drug screen and background check
- Must meet all requirements to obtain an airport SIDA badge and Customs Seal (if applicable), including successfully completing a background check and ten-year work history.
- Must have a reliable mode of communication and transportation
Language Skills:
- Ability to communicate effectively in the English language
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and procedure manuals, and employee handbooks
- Ability to effectively present information, including in written form, and respond to questions from passengers, managers, clients, customers, and the public
- Must also possess and utilize effective listening skills
