Airline Wheelchair Assistant

Bags, a leading provider of mobility solutions, is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Wheelchair Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our airport operations, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and safe transportation of passengers with mobility needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to passengers with mobility needs, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout their journey.
- Operate wheelchairs and mobility aids with precision and care, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
- Assist passengers with luggage and other mobility-related tasks, demonstrating a proactive and helpful attitude.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all company standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with colleagues and airport staff to ensure seamless operations and exceptional customer experience.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; prior experience in customer service or mobility assistance preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and push a loaded wheelchair up to 300 pounds.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on empathy and understanding.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
