Small Estate Planning law firm seeks an outgoing, self-motivated Legal Assistant to interact with clients. Estate Planning experience is preferred, but not required. On-the-job training will be provided.

Interacting with clients & potential clients on a daily basis is required. The preferred candidate must demonstrate excellent communication skills, attention to detail, reading skills, and writing skills.

Responsibilities

  • Calling clients & potential clients and answering calls to schedule appointments, gather information, and update clients on status of documents & cases
  • Maintain a detailed calendar
  • Maintain client files, track & update case statuses
  • Assist with drafting of correspondence & minor documents
  • Assist clients with completing intake forms
  • Assist with estate planning seminars

Requirements

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent customer service & communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
