Position Summary: The Network Administrator is responsible for the system network, software, phone system and company hardware.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. Accountable for Company Computer Network infrastructure (System up time)
  2. Accountable for Company telecommunications infrastructure and devices
    1. Includes phone system, tablets, mobile phones, MDM
  3. Manage and Maintain hardware and software(Employee Devices and System Devices)
  4. Data integrity, security and analysis
  5. Primary point of contact for Technicial system, hardware, software Support
    1. Issues/Queue

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for the uptime of the internal network systems, communication systems, individual computers/devices, and integrity of company computer data. (Some systems are managed internally while others utilize Consultant and Vendor services used maintain systems)
    • System network devices (Servers, Routers, Switches, etc.)
      • Server/workstation operating systems upgrades and patches up to date on most recent versions
      • Make recommendations for upgrades and changes
      • Maintain company network
    • Trouble shoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues
    • Maintain ready stock of computers for immediate replacement in case of a breakdown
      • Procuring Replacement Devices and plans
    • Manage company mobile devices (phones, tablets, AirWatch, etc.)
    • Maintain company phone and voice mail system
    • Maintain Technical Support Issue Log
      • Make employees aware of the Tech Support log and tracking
      • Respond with resolution or update via phone or email within 1 business day of original issue
      • Follow-up again with final resolution via phone or email
      • Track updates and resolutions Technical Support Queue
    • Communicate potential problems/trends to managers

  • Accountable for integrity and backup of company computer data
    • Backup files, library of programs, procedures, network devices, and logins
    • User access and security to all company systems

  • Accountable for Business Software installation and updates as necessary
    • Recommend upgrades and changes
    • Coordinate and setup CRM

  • Accountable for providing analytical data to departments and employees of all companies
    • SRS Reporting development and management as needed for company operations
    • Pulls data/Smartlists for audits, year-end close or as needed

  • Accountable for Continuing Education about software, hardware, programming, reporting, systems, etc.
    • Software user conferences
    • Online training
