Title: Post-Event Operations Manager
Reports to: VP of Operations
 
Summary of Position: The Post-Event Operations Manager oversees the day-to-day activities of Next Level Video’s post-production team at the direction of the VP of Operations. The candidate must excel at organizing, prioritizing, following processes and delegating tasks while multi-tasking and facing strict deadlines. They should demonstrate exceptional communication and organization skills. The individual will target specific areas in which the company may improve operational efficiency. The professional will monitor worker productivity as well as implement new directives for growth. 

This position is responsible for ensuring film delivery deadlines are met after each event, with accuracy. Though this position will deal with video files, this is a position for a strategic task-oriented logistical-focused individual. This is not a creative video-production position; video enthusiasts, editors, filmmakers, or the like will not be considered for this position.

Requirements:

  • Has a proven track record of improving previous processes and implementing new ones for efficiency and accuracy
  • Exceptional Microsoft Excel skills
  • Ability to prove their attention to detail
  • Has held a position that required documenting the progression of workflow
  • Has managed more than 1 direct reports simultaneously
  • Full availability to work weekend and evening hours when the job demands

Responsibilities:  

  • Ensure all game footage is processed and delivered accurately and timely 
  • Oversee the highlight reel production process and ensure accuracy and delivery to customers in a timely manner
  • Ensure all promotional videos are edited and delivered in a timely manner through assignment to editing staff. This position does not edit the content.
  • Improve the media division's operational systems, processes, and policies in support of the company mission. Specifically, support better management reporting, information flow, business processes and organizational planning 
  • Manage and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of division employees 
  • Play a significant role in long term planning geared toward increasing operational efficiency 
  • Oversee program budgets 
  • Invoicing to finance department for payroll and service expenses for non-full-time employees, freelancers, and editors 
  • Organization of documents
  • Regular meetings with senior leadership around logistical planning
  • Regular meetings with staff under their management 
  • Work with customer service team to rectify media issues encountered during processing 
  • Drive initiatives set forth by the senior leadership  
  • Oversee and drive the on boarding and staffing for all media division employees both full-time and part-time 
  • Act as Director of Events responsible for following department protocols for event planning and execution 
  • Oversee and coordinate handoff of filming gear after video processing to be redeployed into the field

Supervisory Responsibility: This position is directly responsible for leading employees of the division 

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work 
This is a full-time position. Office operating hours are Monday through Friday, 9a.m. to 5 p.m. Evening and weekend work will be required as job duties demand. Frequency of evening and weekend work will significantly increase during high volume event seasons 

Travel 
This position requires frequent travel during event seasons and occasional travel during off-peak seasons. Most travel is outside the local area and overnight.
