Job DescriptionJob Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

Provide clerical support to the accounting department.
Type accurately, prepare and maintain accounting documents and records.
Daily enter key data of financial transactions in database.
Provide assistance and support to accounting personnel.
Inform management and compile reports/summaries on activity areas.
Will be responsible for all of the organization's document scanning and filing.
Provide copies of selected documents as requested.
Assists employees, vendors, clients, or customers by answering questions related to accounts, procedures, and services.
Set up and maintain vendor data.
Assist in answering phones while the receptionist is on lunch.
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Function in accordance with established standards, procedures and applicable laws.
Qualifications

Minimum of two years working in a business environment (corporate)

Minimum of a HS Degree. In the process of obtaining or having a two-year college or technical school degree or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience would help you gain more responsibilities.

Ability to stay focused on mundane tasks.

Willingness to help the team by assisting them as needed.

Ability file documents per company procedures.

Willingness to ask for help when in doubt.

Comfortable working with others.
