We are looking for an Accountant to join our team

As an Accountant, you will play a key role in our finance department, supporting various accounting functions and ensuring the accuracy of financial records. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Performing daily accounting tasks such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Reconciling bank statements and accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Post journal entries and adjusting journal entries.
  • Balance sheet reconciliations, specifically bank reconciliations.
  • Assisting with month-end and year-end close processes, including preparation of financial statements.
  • Analyzing financial data and providing insights to management for decision-making.
  • Collaborating with other departments to resolve accounting discrepancies and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Assisting with audits and tax filings as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
