Dignity Health Mercy San Juan Medical Center is a 370-bed not-for-profit Level 2 Trauma Center located in Carmichael California serving the areas of north Sacramento County and south Placer County for more than 50 years. Responsibilities

Job Summary:

• Develops and Reviews monthly accounts receivable for all companies.

• Identifies problem accounts or payer trends and provides direction to associates when working with payers for resolution.

• Assures Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) are met with respect to recognizing bad debt expenses.

• Assists with evaluation and development of best practice revenue cycle processes for area of responsibility.

• Identifies problems and develops resolutions to facilitate timely processing of the HCFA 1500’s, UB04’s, electronic billing, and other billing formats.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Five years' experience in a Health Care Revenue Cycle setting

• Prior supervisory experience preferred

• Proven leadership and ability to lead others through change

• Thorough understanding of the revenue cycle including third party payer requirements, as well as working knowledge of governmental, legal, third-party contractual and regulatory provisions related to revenue cycle activity.

Preferred:

• Experience in Home Health and/or Hospice

• Experience with Homecare Homebase system

Pay Range

$31.94 - $35.56 /hour
