Assistant Resident Engineer (2 positions)
Provides full-time support to the Resident Engineer in the administration of the contract. Supports daily document control of all construction documents, including submittals, RFI’s, formal correspondence, progress payments, quantity take-offs, change orders, as-builts, daily reports, field inspections, etc. Candidate must be highly organized, self-motivated, and able to provide work deliverables accurately in a timely manner. Candidate must have experience preparing meeting minutes, preparing presentations, and coordinating various project tasks at one time. Candidate must be able to collaborate amongst different disciplines and stakeholders to review, resolve and document field and administrative matters.
Working Hours/Conditions:
Consultants must have ability to work a minimum of 8-hour work shifts, Monday – Friday, and commit to a minimum 6-month term. This may be up to a 2-year assignment. Work may require early morning and/or late-night shifts, and weekends; some dirty and disagreeable work environment and physical effort, such as working in inclement weather conditions, walking on uneven surfaces, and standing for long periods of time.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Possession of a bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, planning, architecture, or landscape architecture
- Possession of a valid Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certificate
- Possession of a current HAZWOPER Certificate
- Two (2) years of verifiable professional engineering experience as an Office Engineer, Construction Superintendent, Assistant Project Manager or Project Engineer
(Infrastructure experience in the public right of way is a plus.)
Salary Range:

Annual Salary Min: $90,000 Max: $110,000.00
Hourly Salary Min: $43.27 Max: $52.89
