Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDabri is a construction project management company, who is looking for a Resident Engineer with experience on rail projects to join a growing team of dedicated Managers and Engineers. The responsibilities of this position include:
  • Manage the project construction contract as defined in the Construction Contract Documents.
  • Administer the Construction Contracts, implement the Quality Plans to ensure all construction work is completed in conformance to the Contract Documents;
  • Implement environmental compliance requirements and procedures;
  • Manage the schedule, costs, and change orders, assist with Public Outreach effort, and maintain all construction documentation and record.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the construction contractor, the client, and external stakeholders.
  • Direct the performance of the project CM Team and ensure conformance to established policies and procedures for the management of the project.
  • Interface with the Engineer of Record (EOR) for design support during construction and reviews technical submittals, request for information (RFI), and change orders.
  • Participate in startup and testing activities, final inspection, and contract closeout.
  • Able to evaluate, resolve and provide solutions to contractors and construction inspectors for constructability issues encountered at construction sites.
Minimum Requirements: 
  • Valid CA PE Registration
  • Valid Cal OSHA 10.
  • 2-3 years of experience supporting construction projects
  • BA/BS in an engineering discipline with demonstrated and increasing levels of responsibilities and authority in similar project environments.
Preferred:
  • Construction Manager / Resident engineer: 2 years (Preferred)
  • California PE License
  • Experience leading a CM team
  • OSHA 10 (Preferred)
  • Experience on rail projects
