Our platform technologies also support the development of biosimilar versions of existing drugs. UBI's innovative designer peptides have enabled the creation of blood screening diagnostics and synthetic peptide vaccines.

 

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for an Accounting Manager at United Biomedical, Inc. responsibilities include but are not limited to day-to-day financial tasks such as accounts payable, accounts receivables, budgeting, financial reporting, analysis and general office duties. This position requires a high level of organization, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently to meet deadlines. Remote work will be considered after probationary period. Hybrid position is based in Cold Spring Harbor, NY or in Dallas, Texas. Salary up to 120k.

 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Maintain and balance general ledger accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions.

2. Prepare financial statements, reports, and budgets on a regular basis.

3. Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.

4. Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements.

5. Conduct month-end and year-end close processes.

6. Prepare tax return documents and partner with external CPA firm on filings.

7. Assist with payroll processing and related tax filings.

8. Monitor cash flow and prepare cash forecasts.

9. Maintain an organized filing system for financial documents and records.

10. Assist with financial audits and provide necessary documentation as requested.

 

Qualifications:

1. Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.

2. Experience with SAP and Microsoft Excel.

3. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.

4. Excellent organizational and time management skills.

5. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

7. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred).
