Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Inside Sales Representative to join our dynamic sales team. As an Inside Sales Rep, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and driving revenue growth by selling our ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software as a service (SaaS) solutions to prospective clients. Your primary focus will be to develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, understand their business needs, and provide them with tailored ERP SaaS solutions that address their specific requirements.
This is a 100% in-office position in Irvine.
Responsibilities:
New Business Development:
- Identify and target potential customers who would benefit from our ERP SaaS solutions.
- Prospect, qualify and generate leads through various channels, including cold calling, email campaigns, social media, and industry events.
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of our ERP SaaS solutions.
- Understand client requirements, pain points, and objectives to effectively position our ERP SaaS offerings as the ideal solution.
Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executives, business owners, and IT professionals.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing insights, guidance, and support throughout the sales process.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, implementation, and customer success, to ensure a smooth onboarding and successful deployment of our ERP SaaS solutions.
- Conduct regular follow-ups and stay in touch with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and identify upselling or cross-selling opportunities.
Market Analysis and Competitor Research:
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market dynamics, and competitors' offerings to effectively position our ERP SaaS solutions.
- Conduct market research to identify potential target industries, verticals, and customer segments.
- Analyze market feedback and customer insights to provide valuable input for product development and enhancements.
Sales Reporting and Forecasting:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records using CRM (Customer Relationship Management) tools.
- Prepare regular sales reports, including pipeline updates, sales activities, and revenue forecasts.
- Collaborate with the sales management team to develop sales strategies, set targets, and track performance against goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven track record of successful software sales.
- Must have a good understanding of business processes in distribution and manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of ERP systems, their benefits, and their application in different industries.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
