Job DescriptionJob Description

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to frequent questions regarding payroll, direct deposit, health benefits, scheduling, etc.
  • Review and verify incoming and outgoing documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with established policies and procedures. Assist in preparation of documents.
  • Assist in New Employee On-boarding and post-hire processing including data entry in various human resource and training department databases.
  • Assist with pre-hire documentation requirements and form processing.
  • Provide back up support and break coverage for Reception Office including phone coverage, greeting and directing visitors.
  • Manage relationships with contract agencies for temporary staff members.
  • Assist with screening, selection, scheduling, and time reporting for contract associates.
  • Schedule meetings, interviews, telephone conferences, and training.
  • Provide assistance and coordination in the development and maintenance of specialized human resources databases, computer software systems, and manual filing systems.
  • Monitor and process accident reports, complete data entry, and Workers Compensation documentation as needed.
  • Participate in additional projects as assigned.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Basic skills in Microsoft Office software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction from manager.
  • A desire to learn and gain experience in human resources.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to maintain positive working relationships exhibiting tact and diplomacy while using independent judgment.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage a heavy workload.
  • Knowledge of human resources processes, procedures, and documentation.

Experience & Education requirements: Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or related field with 1 - 2 years' experience in an administrative or Human Resource Generalist role preferred. Experience with knowledge of federal, state and EEO laws, guidelines and procedures.

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
