Shift: 6:00am- 2:30 pm
Job Summary: Join our client's dynamic team as a Quality Control Inspector / Tester and ensure that every product we ship meets the highest standards of quality. Key Functions:
- Perform Production Quality Inspections:
- Conduct in-process and final inspections.
- Review all final documentation work order build packages for completeness and accuracy prior to shipment.
- Assist in the testing of assemblies.
- Participate in Production Meetings: Contribute to discussions on production processes and improvements.
- Program Auto Tester: Set up and manage automated testing equipment.
- Data Input: Accurately record inspection and testing data.
- Customer Meetings: Participate in meetings to discuss quality standards and requirements.
- Continuous Improvement: Engage in efforts to review and enhance existing procedures and processes.
- Prepare First Article Reports (FAI): Use AS9102 form for review and approval.
- Documentation Review: Assist in reviewing and requesting final source inspection.
- Job Package Verification: Verify, confirm, and sign-off on job package paperwork and crimp settings.
- Production Planner Coverage: Cover the production planner role when required.
- Shipping/Receiving QA Coverage: Assist in stock pulls, kitting, shipping, and receiving as needed.
- Create NCRs: Generate non-conformance reports for internal and customer issues related to production.
- F.O.D. Procedure: Inspect and maintain Foreign Object Debris procedures in production areas.
- ISO/AS9100 Involvement: Ensure compliance with ISO/AS9100 standards.
- Material Inspection: Inspect the facility monthly for expired or residual expired materials.
- Safety Practices: Understand and implement all safety practices and use of safety equipment.
- Seek Assistance: Request clarification or assistance from the supervisor when needed.
- Maintain Orderliness: Keep the work area neat and orderly.
Key Requirements:
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Technical school training or equivalent on-the-job training.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Production & Quality Testing.
- Blueprint reading and interpretation skills.
- Knowledge of Quality Management Systems, Procedures, and Processes.
- Mechanical ability and knowledge of production equipment.
- Proficiency in computer skills.
- Ability to read drawings and wire schematics.
- Clear understanding of the English language (read, write, speak).
