Technical Environmental Services is seeking candidates for a temporary position in support of environmental projects in the Port Arthur, TX area. The function of the job is to perform duties related to asbestos inspections/surveys. This role will be the lead field inspector on the team. 

The ideal candidate will have:1.      3-5 years of experience conducting asbestos inspections (preferred);2.      Asbestos inspector training certificate (required);3.      Texas DSHS asbestos building inspector license (preferred);4.      Effective communicate and lead a team (required);5.      Trustworthy and dependable (required);6.      Reliable transportation (required);7.      Ability to read floor plans/maps (required);8.      Ability to legibly complete chains of custody and field notes (required);9.      Ability to climb up to 200 ft. (required);10. Ability to lift 50 lb. containers (required); and,11. TWIC (required).

Texas asbestos inspector accreditation is required. Texas asbestos inspector license is a plus (but not required).
