Are you someone who enjoys helping people? Do you work well as an individual and as a team? Chanhassen Dinner Theatres is currently seeking to add a few team members to our Box Office Team.

A Box Office Associate works both on the phone bank and at the front window taking reservations and helping guide Guests to the best entertainment experience in Chanhassen. This role does have the possible opportunity to move up within the department in a full-time capacity but is not required.

Essential Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Follow a daily task list.
  • Assist guests both on the phone and in person.
  • In-person ticket sales & Will Call.
  • Payment processing.
  • Responsibility for internal reporting.
  • Inter-departmental communications/interactions
  • Answer incoming calls in a professional manner.
  • Communicate internally about daily in-house events.
  • Process tickets orders as customer requests.
  • Good concise telephone skills with attention to detail.
  • Sit at telephone bank for 6-9 hours per shift.
  • Ensuring the safety and confidentiality of guest personal and financial information.
  • Be able to work with other employees in a positive manner.
  • The hours required for this position are reflective of the dynamic schedule of the theater.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Shifts

The hours required for this position are reflective of the dynamic schedule of the theatre, current shifts hours:

  • Monday 9:00AM-5:00PM
  • Tuesday: 11:00AM-8:00PM
  • Wednesday: 10:30AM-8:00PM
  • Thursday: 11:00AM-8:00PM
  • Friday: 11:00AM-8:00PM
  • Saturday: 11:00AM-8:00PM
  • Sunday: 12:30PM-7:00PM

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 18 years of age.
  • Minimum of two years of customer service experience.
  • Excel or computer comfortability required
  • Call center or phone bank experience a plus.
  • Audience View or online ticketing system a plus.
  • Comfortable with technology
  • Availability required:
    • Nights.
    • Weekends.
  • Minimum of three shifts per week.
