The Marketing and Technology Financial Manager will manage the financial planning and analysis for Marketing, IT/Software and Procurement divisions.

Duties and Responsibilities

Financial Planning and Analysis:

  • Develop and manage financial models, forecasts, and budgets for marketing and technology projects.
  • Conduct financial forecasting and modeling to support strategic decision-making.
  • Analyze financial performance, identifying trends, variances and opportunities for improvement.

Resource Allocation:

  • Monitor and track expenditures for Marketing/IT/Software and Procurement.
  • Optimize resource allocation to ensure alignment with organizational goals and priorities.
  • Evaluate the monetary impact of proposed marketing strategies and technology investments.

Budget Management:

  • Partner on the budgeting process for marketing and technology departments, ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures.
  • Manage cost control measures and implement correction action as necessary.
  • Assess the financial viability of new technology investments and innovations.
  • Collaborate with Technology and marketing teams to evaluate technology solutions and their cost effectiveness.
  • Work closely with marketing and technology leaders to align financial strategies with business objectives.

Manage additional projects that advance the Marketing department’s strategic goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or Marketing preferred.
  • Five (5)+ years of experience in financial management with a strong focus on marketing and technology projects.
  • Solid understanding of marketing principles and technology trends.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Proficient in Excel, MS Office, Power BI
