Here's what you'll do day-to-day:

  • Update the cash flow schedule daily with current bank balances, revenue expectations, and payables activity to confirm proper funding is available in each bank account.
  • Perform daily reconciliations of multiple bank accounts to ensure accuracy of financial transactions.
  • Record revenue and corresponding accounts receivable transactions daily to maintain current activity in the financials.
  • Enter and manage accounts payable data, ensuring timely payments and proper expense classification.
  • Execute monthly close procedures, including journal entries, account analysis, and various reconciliations.
  • Prepare financial reports and statements for internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to improve accounting processes.
  • Assist with ad-hoc financial analyses as needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.

Here's what we're looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
