Family Service Association is seeking to hiring a temporary full time (35 hours per week) Medical Billing Specialist. Hours are Monday - Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The Temporary Medical Billing Assistant is directly responsible for researching accounts receivable.
Duties and Responsibilities:.
- Researching denied claims.
- Determine if a denial can be rebilled and if so send rebill to appropriate insurance company.
- Work aged receivables report to identify claims that need to be appealed or written off.
Education and Experience:
- Minimum of High School Diploma is required.
- Strong computer skills required.
**Experience with billing and/or electronic medical records preferred.
