Family Service Association is actively seeking a dedicated full-time (40 hours per week) Accounts Receivable Clerk. The working hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Role Summary:

The Accounts Receivable Clerk plays a crucial role in managing Accounts Receivable and Contract Billing, alongside other relevant tasks assigned by the Accounting Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate Carelogic general ledger reports.
  • Document Accounts Receivable transactions.
  • Process all bank deposits and withdrawals accurately.
  • Access Commonwealth of Mass. Online printouts to track direct deposits.
  • Examine billing receivable reports against accounting receivable balances.
  • Collaborate with the billing department to resolve receivable discrepancies.
  • Compile information for various internal and external audits.
  • Meet the reasonable expectations of the Agency and/or supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree is preferred.
  • Understanding of accounting principles and practices is essential.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field is required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in accounts receivable is preferred.
