Title: Marketing Assistant

Location: Woodbridge, NJ

Job Status: Full Time


Job Summary:

Responsible for assisting the marketing team with day-to-day activities for Northfield Bank. Assist with internal communications, event management, community relations, budget tracking, advertising strategy, and digital metrics. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is required.


Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for social media monitoring and scheduling social posts under the direction of the Marketing Manager
  2. Monitor customer submitted reviews, comments, and questions submitted to social media sites and online directory listings
  3. Utilize Google Analytics and other tools to monitor traffic to the Northfield website
  4. Assist with content and design for advertising materials and web site
  5. Assist with planning and execution of digital advertising programs and tracking and monitoring campaign results
  6. Assist with the planning, logistics, and communications for internal and external events
  7. Process paperwork and deliverables for the Bank's sponsorship of community groups or organizations
  8. Plan, gather content, and produce the quarterly internal newsletter
  9. Assist with the creation and scheduling of content for branch digital marketing displays
  10. Categorize and log all marketing invoices into budget tracking sheet
  11. Assist with requests from the deposit and lending teams for sales and marketing support
  12. Oversee orders from departments placed on the online promotional items store and the Fiserv branch ticket store
  13. Assist marketing team with planning and execution of marketing programs and initiatives
  14. Utilize EnAct CRM to distribute leads to sales teams
  15. Monitor customer survey program reporting and interact with business lines as needed
  16. Coordinate the approval and retention process for advertising materials compliance reviews
  17. Incorporate Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion messaging into internal and external communications.
  18. Compliance with all relevant Bank policies and procedures

Requirements


  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications or related field required
  • Professional experience in marketing or related field required (1+ years)
  • Intermediate level of PC skills and MS Office (Word, Excel) required (1+ years)
  • Graphic Design using Adobe Creative Suite experience preferred
