SDMI is seeking a Billing Clerk I to join our team This position is located at SDMI's Administration building at 7301 Peak Drive and is not a remote position.

A Day in the Life as an SDMI Billing Clerk: You will be responsible for mailing out HCFA 1500s as well as processing all other in-house mail and correcting addresses on all returned mail. You can expect to answer all incoming calls and assist patients in resolving billing discrepancies. Assist Account Manager with calls, correspondences, and explanation of benefits. Audit Front Desk Day Sheets for insurance linked incorrectly and/or wrong plan used. Review all payment for correct distribution to correct CPT Codes, Tasks to Transcription with corrections from Coders. Post all charges from Day Sheets and allocate all money not linked to CPT Codes before daily billing can be run. Assist in setting up Payment Plans and mailing Hardship packages to patients. May perform other job related duties as necessary for the efficient operation of SDMI. You can expect to be scheduled Mondays-Fridays with shifts starting as early as 6:30am and ending as late as 5:30pm (8 hour shifts). No callbacks and no weekends

You can expect to earn a starting rate of $19 hourly
