Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Banquet Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in ensuring the seamless execution of all banquet events, providing exceptional service, and maintaining the highest standards of hospitality. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the hospitality industry, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record in managing large-scale events.



Salary: $75K - $90K




Key Responsibilities

  • Event Coordination: Oversee the planning, organization, and execution of banquet events, ensuring all client specifications are met.
  • Team Management: Lead and train banquet staff, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Client Interaction: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing any concerns and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards of service and quality, adhering to company policies and industry best practices.
  • Budget Management: Monitor event budgets, control costs, and maximize profitability while delivering outstanding service.
  • Logistics Oversight: Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and other departments to ensure timely and efficient event setup and teardown.
  • Problem Resolution: Quickly address and resolve any issues or emergencies that arise during events.


Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in banquet or event management within the hospitality industry.
  • Education: Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead and inspire a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-Oriented: Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Customer-Focused: Deep commitment to customer satisfaction and experience enhancement.
  • Financial Acumen: Solid understanding of budget management and cost control.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
