Job Title: Banquet Captain

About the Role:
The Banquet Captain is responsible for overseeing banquet functions in the Club, ensuring member and guest satisfaction through proper food and beverage service and presentation. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to multitask and work at a rapid pace.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute private and club events with precision and attention to detail.
  • Hold pre-function meetings with servers to ensure smooth service and assign server stations.
  • Coordinate the timing of courses with the kitchen personnel to ensure seamless execution.
  • Inspect house service areas and equipment to guarantee standards are met.
  • Act as Lead Waiter at special functions as needed.
  • Assume Opening or Closing Manager responsibilities when assigned.

About You:
To be successful in this role, you must have 3-5 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, with 1-3 years of supervisory experience. You should also possess good communication and promotional skills, as well as teaching and motivational skills. A High School Diploma or equivalent is required, along with relevant certifications such as Food Handlers and FSP certified.
