Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Banquet Events Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience in banquet event management and be able to manage the execution of onsite catering and banquet events.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the execution of onsite catering and banquet events, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional guest experience.
  • Present invoices to guests, accurately process payments, and balance sales/receipts.
  • Comprehend and execute specific banquet instructions and timelines, and expedite any contract changes as communicated from the catering sales team.
  • Ensure all event setups and breakdowns are performed in a timely manner.
  • Ensure post-event reporting is executed by the appropriate team member and shared with the sales team in a timely manner.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with team members, clients, guests, and vendors.
  • Attend tastings and meetings, and communicate pertinent information to the appropriate personnel.
  • Identify and communicate equipment repair and maintenance needs to the GM and/or designated managers/chefs.
  • Model and promote teamwork across all teams.
  • Use tact and good judgment when dealing with challenges pertaining to guests, vendors, and employees, and respond with patience and courtesy.
  • Work a variety of days and shifts, including early mornings, late nights, and weekends, at multiple sites with or without overnight travel, as needed.
Qualifications
  • 2 years of banquet event management experience required.
  • Ability to manage the execution of onsite catering and banquet events.
  • Experience working directly with clients, catering sales teams, operations staff, and vendors.
